Reflexology, also known as zone therapy is a therapy designed to help relieve stress, by applying gentle pressure to certain points of your feet, and in some cases, hands. It is theorised that reflexology is achieved by certain areas of the foot corresponding to organs and body systems, thus creating an overall improved body state.

Although Zone Therapy is thought to have originated in Egypt circa 2330 BC, it was officially introduced in America by the otherwise known 'father of reflexology' Dr. William H Fitzgerald in 1913. Dr. Fitzgerald was an E.N.T Consultant whom later published work about ten vertical zones that extended the length of the body, theorising about links between reflex zones in the hands and feet with corresponding organs of the body.
